The Fathers are back...
Yes it's true Denver was blanketed with over a foot of snow yesterday and most of the city shut down, but miraculously the bars stayed open and Ideal Fathers had there first show since November. Their first show with the new drummer Mike. I chose to stay home since it was still snowing and I wasn't sure if I would have work today or not, but Jesse just couldn't leave the guys hanging. Luckily the new Mike has 4-wheel drive and he came to Jesse's rescue. He left around 7pm and didn't go on until 11:30pm. I called to check in several times and as predicted the bar was pretty packed. See when it snows a ton in Denver and people predict no work they all walk to the bars to drink, hang out, and hear good music. Jesse said there was a pretty good crowd for a Thursday evening and that Mike did really well. When I asked Jesse how he did he said I wasn't too proud of myself, but I did get compliments from several audience members some where members of the bands that played before us... Maybe I'm just being to hard on myself? BINGO! My thoughts exactly, but then again who isn't? All and all the show was a success and everyone made it home safe and sound. Their next show is scheduled for April 11th and it's their 1st all ages show (not just 21 and up). The show after that will be their release party for the EP, so there is still lots of work to be done before that. May 16th here we come.!

Ok, so I just got a little time to finally catch up on everyone's blog - I loved reading what's been going on with you guys! I then discovered that you are a Jon & Kate plus 8 lover....me, guilty as well! I love it! What do you think of all the gossip going around about them? I thought the Season Finale would tell a little more, but it didn't. Their kids are so stinkin' cute! Adam hates the fact that I want the season on DVDs - he thinks I'm joking, but I'm completely SERIOUS :)
Jesse was convinced that they were getting a divorce and I said no way. I think Jon is having a hard time coping with the cameras and the outside recognition. He's been thrown into the celebrity spotlight which has it's perks, but I'm sure it a real pain. I think that they will come back for another season, but Jon is ready for a break from the celebrity life. Obviously Kate is loving it and she seems to be the one wearing the pants in that family. Plus it makes them good money and gets them lots of amazing opportunities.
