My hair this morning when I woke up.

Now getting ready for bed with short hair.
It's really short. Shorter than Jesse's actually.
I look in the mirror and I can't even recognize myself.
I am sure it will grow on me and I hope it does soon.
I have a feeling I will be wearing lots of headbands, earrings, scarves, and clippies to make myself feel more girly for a while. I once had my hair cut short and I felt like I looked like a soccer mom. I was 19 at the time and it was not the best hair cut for me. I had this fear that my hair short this time would make me look like a soccer mom again. I guess I was sick of the long hair annoyances and everyone assuming I was 16. Hopefully my haircut makes me look more age appropriate, somewhere between a soccer mom and a teenager. What do you think? I'm going to give it time to grow on me, but so far I've had mixed reviews. Work tomorrow should be interesting.

Your mom is right...it's wonderful. And now is the time to take advantage of the 'girly' stuff... long earrings, headbands, etc!! One advantage, Jesse can now have the flat iron all to himself!
Thanks! I do like it, but I am having a hard time recognizing myself. It was a big change for me. I think it's growing on me though and all your wonderful comments help. Everyone at work had nice things to say, so I feel pretty good about it. :)
