Parade time...

Hanging out in the crowd's just up the road from Union Station.

It wouldn't be a St. Paddy's Parade without Irish setters.

Bag pipes galore. A co-worker of Jesse's was in the parade playing pipes, but she was pretty hard to spot in the constant see of pipers.

Jesse and I were briefly separated while he tried to find his friend, Adam, who came down to join us. The crowds were so crazy that we were separated for most of the parade. This a shot of Jesse drinking a free AMP and making friends with the 2 older gentlemen he was standing next to.

Crazy giant puppets. They were meant to entertain the kids, but not all of them were amused. A kid close to us was a little nervous when he saw them coming. His mom calmed him down by assuring him they were puppets. He seemed cool about it until 3 more came around the corner. Then he started yelling Too Many, Too Many, and freaking out. Apparently 4 giant puppet people are too many, but the thousands of people squishing us and trapping us was just fine.
I thought they were pretty cool actually.

This Morning Jesse and I got a wild idea and decided to ride our bikes downtown to check out Denver's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Which is a 4mile trip and well neither one of us have rode our bikes in ages. We did great getting down their, but the trip back which is all up hill (they don't call them the Highlands for nothing) was a little torturous. These were a few of the random photos we took while down there. The crowds were so crazy that we ended up sneaking out early and going to brunch with Jesse's friend, Adam.
