Cheyenne & Pikes...

Cody was popular with the ladies.

Me feeding the slobber old giraffe. I definitely got slimmed. Thank goodness for hand sanitizer. They were cute, but very slobbery.

We spent lots of time feeding the giraffes, especially the old wrinkly one. She was our favorite.

This guy wouldn't stop rubbing his tongue all over the fence. It was hilarious. Back and forth all over the railing of the fence. It was almost like he was scratching his tongue.

Feeding the birds. Not as cool as last time when the bird tried to nest in
Jesse's lovely locks, but still fun.

Hanging out in the Tiger viewing portal.

Cody being attacked by a grizzly.

Hanging out on the overlook @ the zoo.
Too bad the camera didn't pick up the amazing view of Colorado Springs.

The thinking man.

Sad faces.

Boring!

Beautiful Cheyenne Mountain views.

Riding a Mountain Goat.

Trouble Maker.

After dropping Jesse off at work this morning we headed down to Colorado Springs to check out the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Then we decided to drive up Pikes Peak. Could have been an expensive day, but we saved big
with coupons on both experiences.

I made him stand climb up that giant snow pile. He kept sinking in up to his ankles. I think someone should have brought their snow boots.

My new friend.

Beautiful Mountain Vistas from 3/4 the way up Pikes Peak.
The weather was gorgeous in Denver today (60 degrees). The weather was of course much cooler on the mountain. We were only allowed to drive up 13 of the 19miles to the top of the mountain. If I remember correctly at that height the temperature was only 35degrees, so a wee bit colder.
